Lori Aldea - Owner and Founder
Dogs have always been at the heart of my life. From a young age, I felt a deep connection to them—their loyalty, their joy, and the unconditional love they give so freely. That connection eventually led me to turn my passion into a lifelong career in canine care and wellness.

My professional journey began in 2007, when I landed a grooming apprenticeship at an established Dog Spa in West Vancouver. From the very beginning, I knew I had found my calling. In 2008, I opened my very first grooming business—Head to Tail Tidys—in my parents’ basement bathroom in Port Moody, BC. What started as a small setup quickly grew, and by 2009 my parents had opened more space in the basement for me to expand. That’s where It’s All Pawsitive was born. I chose the name because I wanted it to stand for what I believe: that every dog deserves a positive, stress-free grooming experience.

As I built my grooming career, I continued expanding my knowledge. In 2009, I became certified in Canine Maintenance Massage through the Northwest School of Animal Massage. In 2010, I completed Rehabilitation Canine Massage training and went on to take many more specialized massage courses for rehabilitation over the years. This path gave me a deeper understanding of how touch, movement, and care can truly transform a dog’s quality of life. Then in 2012, I began working in a Canine Hydrotherapy Facility—an experience that would change my life forever.

It was there that I met Bella. She was a rescue dog brought in by the SPCA for a promo swim, having been left paralyzed after a routine spay. Bella’s spirit was undeniable, and our bond was immediate. Against all odds, she made a miraculous recovery that defied expectations. Walking beside her through that journey changed me forever. It deepened my understanding of the strength, spirit, and unconditional love our dogs carry, and it sparked my passion for creating a space where pets and their people can find true care and support. Bella was more than my companion—she was my heart dog. When she passed away in January, she left behind a legacy of courage and connection that continues to guide me in everything I do.

Out of this journey, It’s All Pawsitive has grown into more than a dog spa—it’s a space dedicated to whole-dog wellness, where every dog is treated like family and every pet parent feels supported. With the help of a talented, compassionate team of practitioners, we are creating a community that goes beyond grooming: one that nurtures health, balance, and joy for dogs and their people.

Today, I share my life with my husband, our 5 year old daughter Vera (an animal lover already), and our new pup, Bucky, who brings playfulness and laughter into our home. My family is at the center of everything I do, and they remind me daily why this work matters.

At It’s All Pawsitive, every wagging tail is a reminder of where I started, what Bella taught me, and why I remain committed to giving dogs and their families the very best.
Kori Sterling - Executive Manager & Lead Dog Stylist at It’s All Pawsitive.

Kori joined It’s All Pawsitive in 2020 to take over during Lori Aldea’s maternity leave. Her passion, skill, and natural leadership quickly made her an essential part of the team. Today, Kori proudly serves as our Executive Manager and Lead Dog Stylist — helping guide our grooming team with expertise, compassion, and a deep understanding of canine care.

Kori’s love for dogs started in childhood, long before her career began. She graduated from Animal Haven Grooming School in 2014 and has been dedicated to perfecting her craft ever since. Her grooming philosophy centers on trust, understanding and gentle handling— ensuring every dog feels safe, calm, and cared for.

Outside of work, Kori channels her passion into dog sports like dock diving, disc, flyball, agility, barn hunt, and sprinters. She shares her life with three Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, all females and her undeniable “heart breed.”

Known for being a bit of a dog nerd, Kori loves learning about different breeds, behavior, and all things canine. She is also Fear Free Certified and DogSafe Certified, which allows her to provide every dog with a gentle and positive grooming experience.

With her leadership, technical skill, and genuine love for dogs, Kori represents the very best of It’s All Pawsitive — a place where passion and care shine through in everything we do.

Sarah Britz - Dog Stylist Assistant

Sarah is the Bathing Manager here at It's All Pawsitive!

She started working at It's All Pawsitive in December of 2021, but Sarah has been working professionally with dogs since 2018. She is a certified professional dog trainer through the Karen Pryor Academy, a Puppy Start Right Instructor, a Fear-Free certified groomer and is DogSafe First Aid certified.

Sarah has been obsessed with dogs since her preschool days, but her passion for learning everything about them sparked at age 9 upon joining the Chilliwack 4-H Dog Club.

When she's not in the salon, Sarah takes on training clients through her own business, The Proactive Pup, and spends a lot of time continuing her training education. She enjoys recreational agility and obedience training with her Shetland Sheepdog “Motif”. She also continues to be involved with the same 4-H dog club she grew up in, as a volunteer leader for the kids.
